Saige Pilates Studio Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Saige Pilates Studio (whose registered office is 128a Station Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA15 7AB and whose company number is 16914505. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our studio, services, classes, private sessions, website, and booking system. By booking a class, attending a session, purchasing a package, or entering our studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Booking and Payment
All classes and private sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via the online booking system or in-person at the studio. Your spot is not confirmed until payment has been received.
We are a cashless studio and payment must be made online.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a class or private session. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the start time will not be refunded or credited.
No-shows are considered late cancellations and are non-refundable.
Late Arrival
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for smooth check-in.
Late arrivals may not be permitted to join a class and will be considered a no-show.
We are under no obligation to refund or credit classes or private sessions that are missed due to local adverse weather or traffic.
Class Changes and Cancellations by the Studio
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes, substitute instructors, or modify class formats as needed.
Clients will be notified and offered an alternative class or credit where applicable.
Age Restrictions
Classes are open to participants aged 16 or older, unless otherwise stated. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver.
Health and Safety
Carrying out any physical activity, including group exercise classes and private sessions, carries risk. Participation is at your own risk.
Clients must inform instructors of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy prior to each class or private session.
If you suffer from any health problems, are undergoing any medical treatment or are taking medication, you must consult your medical practitioner before starting classes or private sessions. Group exercises classes or private sessions should not be considered a replacement for professional medical counselling or treatment.
Pre- and post-natal clients should consult a medical professional before attending classes. They should attend designated classes, private sessions, or check if instructors are comfortable to host them in general classes before booking and attending, to ensure appropriate modifications can be made.
In the event that you contract an infectious disease, we recommend you cancel your class within the cancellation period to protect staff and clients.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears unwell or unfit to practice.
Instructors may offer modifications or alternatives based on your ability or health status. They reserve the right to ask any participant to pause or leave the class if necessary for safety reasons.
Appropriate attire must be worn to support your safety, as detailed in the ‘Attire’ section.
Hands On Correction
Our instructors often offer hands on correction, involving physical contact, to ensure correct safe positioning, posture and alignment. We respect your wishes if you do not want hands on correction. Please ensure you notify the instructor in advance of each class or private session.
Attire
Clothing that is appropriate for exercise is required. Stretchy and form-fitting clothing is recommended to allow freedom of movement and enable instructors to check alignment.
For Reformer classes and private sessions, grip socks must be worn. In the event you do not have grip socks, you will be able to purchase these at the studio. Instructors reserve the right to refuse participation without grip socks.
Socks are strongly encouraged for mat classes for hygiene.
Jewellery should be minimal to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who is not in appropriate attire.
Studio Etiquette and Cleanliness
All mats, reformer beds, and props must be wiped down by clients after use. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
You may bring your own mat.
Mobile phones and other devices should be silenced or turned off during class.
Please respect the studio, instructors and other clients – no loud talking, disruptive or destructive behaviour.
We will provide facilities for your personal belongings. However, we cannot be held responsible for liable for lost or stolen items.
Outside shoes must not be worn inside the studio spaces and should be left in the changing area.
Food is not allowed inside the studio spaces.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive and respectful space for all, regardless of gender, gender identity, disability, race, religion or sexual orientation.
Disrespectful, disruptive or discriminatory behaviour towards staff or clients will result in suspension or permanent removal from the studio.
Memberships, Bundles, and Pricing
The following expiry periods will apply for class bundles, from date of first class:
3 sessions: valid for 4 weeks
5 sessions: valid for 6 weeks
10 sessions: valid for 12 weeks
Private sessions or private bundles expire one year from the date of purchase.
If you wish to end your unlimited membership, 30 days’ notice must be given.
Expiry dates are fixed, unless a valid medical certificate is provided. We will consider reasonable requests to freeze memberships, such as for operations or long-term sicknesses with valid medical notes.
All class bundles, memberships, and private sessions are non-transferable. Refunds will only be permitted on classes or bundles within 14 days of online purchase where no classes have been booked or attended.
We reserve the right to review and change pricing from time to time. Changes in pricing will reflect new purchases of individual classes, private sessions, or bundles. Existing credits will be valid until expiry. Should unlimited membership pricing change, at least 30 days’ notice will be given.
Filming, Photograph and Use of Media
The studio may occasionally capture photos or videos for promotional use. You may opt out by notifying us in writing or letting staff know before class begins.
If you wish to record any content during a class, you must gain permission from the instructor and any other clients that may be captured in the recording. You must respect their right to refuse.
Class Observation
To maintain quality, from time-to-time senior management may conduct class observations. Such spot checks may occur at any time without prior notification. This is to observe the instructor and not clients.
Studio Responsibilities
The studio will ensure all instructors are appropriately qualified prior to teaching.
The studio will regularly be cleaned, cleaning supplies will be provided, and apparatus will regularly be inspected to support health and safety.
The studio holds appropriate insurances and licenses to operate.
To book, you must register with Mind Body. We will not share this data with any other third party. Only authorised studio employees, agents, and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to your information on Mind Body.
Complaints
Complaints will be taken seriously and investigated by studio management.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions
From time to time, we may update these terms and conditions. In this instance, we will notify existing customers.
Personal Responsibility
You are electing to participate in classes or private sessions at the studio acknowledging the risks associated.
You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition during classes and private sessions.
You must work at your own pace and a level that is suitable for you.
Stop any movement that causes pain or discomfort and notify the instructor if you would like a modification/alternative, if you feel unwell, or if you experience an injury.
It is your responsibility to keep your personal details up to date, including medical conditions, address, and contact details.
Waiver of Liability
All participants must complete and sign a waiver prior to their first class or private session.
By attending our classes or private sessions, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
