Frequently Asked Questions
Whether you’re brand new to movement or already deep in your wellness routine, our FAQs are here to guide you with everything you need to know before stepping into the studio.
What is different about Saige to other studios in the area?
Here at Saige we are lucky enough to home two beautiful full size studios! Meaning we can offer both Reformer pilates and Mat based disciplines under one roof! We are the only studio in Sidcup that is able to offer this without any memberships or unwanted commitments!
Where can I park?
We would recommend parking in ‘Old Farm Avenue’ Car park, located directly opposite and you can pay using the Ringo App.
Where are you located?
We are located down the opening between Marks and Spencer and Melk Coffee Co (By Wisdom Estate Agents). Walk down here and you will see our entrance on the left.
What should I bring with me?
We would advise that you wear breathable/comfortable clothing to classes and bring water with you. Grip socks are mandatory in Reformer pilates classes, normal socks are recommended for any classes in the Mat Studio. We will provide any other equipment needed however you are welcome to bring your own mat if you would prefer.
Do I need to wear grip socks to participate in Reformer pilates?
Yes! – Grip socks are mandatory for safety reasons. If you do not have socks you will be required to purchase from reception on arrival.
I have never done pilates before, can I come to Saige?
Yes absolutely, Saige has been designed for everyone. We would reccomend starting with Reform foundations or Mat Classical if you are a beginner. If you are still unsure which class to attend please email/DM us!
Is there somewhere safe to leave my belongings?
Yes we have a small changing area where you can leave coats and bags – the front door will be locked between all classes.
Can I get changed at the studio?
Yes, we have a large toilet where you can get changed before or after class. We do not have shower facilities.
I have an injury, what shall I do?
Please make sure your GP or physio has signed you off for exercise first. If so, please make your instructor aware on arrival and modifications can be made for you!
Can I come to class if I'm pregnant?
Yes! You are welcome to attend all of our classes as long as you have previous pilates experience. We will also be offering specific pregnancy friendly classes on our timetable. Any questions here please email us!
How do I book a class?
You will need to make a MINDBODY account first, find our intro offer packages and then book your first class! Refer to our ‘Timeable’ section of the website to see our schedule. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class for a studio tour!
Do you offer discounts to anyone?
Yes we offer discounts to blue light card holders (NHS staff, emergency services, care workers) – Please send us an email to enquire about this.
